Hand-IT Back is owned and operated by Charterhouse Muller plc, who've been taking care of data security and secure computer disposal for the UKs top Banks, financial institutions and the Government for almost 20 years.

Using high security processes, computer equipment is speedily and efficiently destroyed and completely recycled.

It all takes place in a modern, high security building and every single item is tracked to provide a full audit trail of the equipment's journey through the process. We guarantee to fulfil our pledge that nothing at all goes to landfill and everything is re-used and is fully compliant with the latest WEEE (Waste Electrical, Electronic Equipment) directives.

We have also worked hard to obtain and operate to the following standards:

All our staff are vetted to IPSA BS 7858 - 2006 and all destruction and reprocessing is undertaken in a confidential and secure environment.
